Alla seconda partenza non sono partito benissimo e ho perso posizioni, poi un'altra bandiera rossa. Nell'ultima ripartenza sono stato portato largo alla seconda curva da un altro pilota e mi sono ritrovato ultimo, con oltre tre secondi di distacco. Con soli sei giri a disposizione era quasi impossibile recuperare. Alla fine porto a casa due punti, che oggi erano il massimo possibile. Spero soprattutto che tutti i piloti coinvolti negli incidenti stiano bene. Ora guardiamo avanti e pensiamo alla prossima."

"It's not the result we wanted. I want to apologise to the team because they worked really hard all weekend and deserved more. It was a very strange race with two red flags. In the first part I wasn't doing too badly — I was already ninth and feeling competitive — and then the red flag came out. The second start wasn't great and I lost positions, then another red flag. At the final restart I was pushed wide in Turn 2 by another rider and found myself last, more than three seconds behind the group ahead. With only six laps to go it was almost impossible to recover — it wasn't even a sprint. In the end I take the two points, which was the maximum possible today. It's better than nothing. I just hope all the riders involved in the crashes are okay. Now we look ahead to the next one."

"Ce n'est pas le résultat que nous voulions. Je veux m'excuser auprès de l'équipe car elle a travaillé très dur tout le week-end et méritait mieux. C'était une course vraiment étrange, avec deux drapeaux rouges. Dans la première partie, je n'allais pas mal, j'étais déjà neuvième et je me sentais compétitif, puis l'interruption est arrivée. Au deuxième départ, je ne suis pas parti au mieux et j'ai perdu des positions, puis un autre drapeau rouge. Au dernier redémarrage, j'ai été poussé au large au deuxième virage par un autre pilote et je me suis retrouvé dernier, avec plus de trois secondes de retard. Avec seulement six tours à faire, c'était presque impossible de remonter. Au final, je ramène deux points, qui étaient le maximum possible aujourd'hui. J'espère surtout que tous les pilotes impliqués dans les accidents vont bien. Maintenant on regarde devant et on pense à la prochaine."

Peccato per la seconda bandiera rossa: avevamo tenuto una gomma nuova durante il weekend proprio per questa eventualità ma non ho potuto sfruttarla perché è arrivata un'altra bandiera rossa. E alla terza partenza eravamo tutti con gomma usata. È stato comunque un weekend utile per imparare e capire dove dobbiamo focalizzarci. Ora abbiamo tempo per preparare il Brasile con la squadra e provare a fare un altro step."

"It was a difficult race overall. It's a shame about the second red flag because we had saved a new tyre during the weekend exactly in case of this kind of situation. At the second restart I had a clear advantage with the new tyre, but then the race was stopped again and at the third start everyone was on used tyres. That's how it goes. It was a weekend to learn, to understand where we need to focus and where we need to make steps forward. Now we have time to prepare Brazil with the team and try to take another step there."

Tre ripartenze hanno messo alla prova la tensione di tutti, ma abbiamo portato a casa punti. "For me, this race represents a real starting point because it clearly shows us where we need to work. Especially with the new rider, Arbolino, who needs the bike to be tailored more to his specific requirements. At the same time, he has understood that this Kalex demands a particular riding approach, different from what he was used to. There is work to do, but he remained calm and showed real progress during the race. For Barry, the race was compromised by yesterday's qualifying. It was a difficult race for everyone in the category — three starts really test your focus and tension. In the end, we scored points. They're not many, but they count, and they allow us to start building our championship the way we want to, just like last season."

Notamment avec le nouveau pilote, Arbolino, qui a besoin que la moto soit davantage adaptée à ses exigences spécifiques. En même temps, il a compris que cette Kalex demande une approche de pilotage particulière. Il y a du travail, mais il est très serein, et il a montré de vrais progrès en course. "It was a complicated start to the season and we cannot be satisfied with the final result. However, all the foundations to perform well are there. With Tony, we simply need time to complete the adaptation process and build a solid base to work from, while with Barry we must regain consistency and convert the potential he has already shown into stronger results. The championship is long and this opening weekend gave us clear indications on where to improve. We will keep working with determination — we'll be back in the fight soon."
