"It wasn't the qualifying we wanted. This morning our pace was really strong — good enough to fight at the front. In the afternoon, though, I couldn't put a clean lap together. On the final run I was improving, with a very strong first sector, but the yellow flags stopped everything. It's a pity because the potential was there. He went out one lap earlier to manage traffic, but in the final run we still found congestion and then the double yellow flags complicated everything.
