Il Gran Premio di Germania si conclude con un risultato inferiore alle aspettative per REDS Fantic Racing, che lascia il Sachsenring senza punti nonostante i segnali incoraggianti emersi nelle prime sessioni del weekend.
Dopo il secondo tempo nelle FP1 del venerdì e le buone indicazioni raccolte sul passo gara, Tony Arbolino non è riuscito a trasformare il potenziale mostrato in un risultato concreto, chiudendo la gara in sedicesima posizione.
Partito dalla sesta fila dopo una qualifica fortemente condizionata dalle bandiere gialle, il pilota italiano era risalito fino alla quattordicesima posizione nelle prime fasi di gara, facendo segnare il proprio miglior giro al terzo passaggio in 1'23.381. Con il passare dei giri, però, il ritmo non è rimasto quello mostrato nelle sessioni precedenti e Tony ha concluso fuori dalla zona punti.
Indicazioni positive arrivano invece da Jorge Navarro, autore della sua miglior prestazione con i colori REDS Fantic Racing. Lo spagnolo ha completato una gara regolare e senza errori, recuperando posizioni rispetto alla griglia di partenza e chiudendo diciottesimo al traguardo, confermando i progressi nel processo di adattamento alla Kalex del team nel suo secondo weekend con la squadra.
Il campionato entra ora nella pausa estiva, con il team che sfrutterà le prossime settimane per analizzare i dati raccolti e preparare al meglio la seconda parte della stagione, in attesa del rientro di Barry Baltus.
The German Grand Prix ends with a result below expectations for REDS Fantic Racing, who leave the Sachsenring without points despite the encouraging signs shown in the opening sessions of the weekend.
After the second-fastest time in Friday's FP1 and the good indications gathered on race pace, Tony Arbolino was unable to turn the potential shown into a concrete result, finishing the race in sixteenth position.
Starting from the sixth row after a qualifying session heavily affected by yellow flags, the Italian rider had climbed up to fourteenth position in the early stages of the race, setting his fastest lap on the third tour with a 1'23.381. As the laps went by, however, his rhythm did not stay at the level shown in the previous sessions and Tony finished outside the points.
Positive indications came instead from Jorge Navarro, who produced his best performance in REDS Fantic Racing colours. The Spaniard completed a consistent, error-free race, gaining positions compared to his grid slot and crossing the line in eighteenth place, confirming his progress in adapting to the team's Kalex in his second weekend with the squad.
The championship now enters the summer break, with the team set to use the coming weeks to analyse the data gathered and prepare as well as possible for the second part of the season, while awaiting Barry Baltus's return.

Après le deuxième temps en FP1 vendredi et les bonnes indications recueillies sur le rythme de course, Tony Arbolino n'a pas réussi à concrétiser le potentiel affiché, terminant la course en seizième position.
Parti de la sixième ligne après des qualifications fortement perturbées par les drapeaux jaunes, le pilote italien était remonté jusqu'à la quatorzième position dans les premiers tours, signant son meilleur chrono au troisième passage avec un 1'23"381. Au fil des tours cependant, son rythme n'est pas resté au niveau montré lors des sessions précédentes et Tony a terminé hors des points.
Des indications positives viennent en revanche de Jorge Navarro, auteur de sa meilleure performance aux couleurs REDS Fantic Racing. L'Espagnol a bouclé une course constante et sans erreur, gagnant des positions par rapport à sa place sur la grille et franchissant la ligne en dix-huitième position, confirmant ses progrès dans l'adaptation à la Kalex de l'équipe lors de son deuxième week-end avec la formation.
Le championnat entre maintenant dans la trêve estivale. L'équipe mettra à profit les prochaines semaines pour analyser les données recueillies et préparer au mieux la seconde partie de saison, en attendant le retour de Barry Baltus.

"È stata una gara positiva. Sapevo che avevamo un ritmo abbastanza consistente e sono riuscito a fare una buona partenza, rimanendo in lotta per la zona punti per buona parte della gara. Sono soddisfatto del lavoro che abbiamo svolto con il team. Non è facile arrivare qui ed essere competitivi dopo appena due gare, quindi voglio ringraziare tutta la squadra per l'opportunità e per il modo in cui sono stato accolto. Spero che Barry possa recuperare nel migliore dei modi e, per quanto mi riguarda, sono contento di aver disputato queste due gare, di essere rimasto attivo e spero possano arrivare nuove opportunità."
