Un risultato che conferma il potenziale mostrato per tutta la giornata e permette al team di affrontare il sabato con fiducia, in vista di qualifiche che si preannunciano molto combattute.

Per Jorge Navarro la giornata è stata dedicata soprattutto alla costruzione del feeling con la moto. Lo spagnolo ha lavorato insieme alla squadra provando diverse soluzioni e raccogliendo dati preziosi per comprendere il comportamento della Kalex nelle diverse condizioni di pista. Il suo miglior riferimento, 1'37.452, è arrivato già al terzo dei venti giri completati, prima di proseguire il lavoro sul setup senza riuscire a completare un time attack pulito nel finale. Navarro ha concluso la giornata in ventisettesima posizione, a 1.298 secondi dal miglior tempo, ma con indicazioni incoraggianti in vista della FP2 e della Q1 di sabato.

Il venerdì di Assen lascia quindi segnali positivi per entrambe le parti del box.

Arbolino showed strong pace from the opening FP1 session, confirming his confidence around the Dutch circuit during the afternoon Practice. Despite challenging conditions caused by high temperatures and a track offering very little margin for error, the Italian rider managed the session with consistency, remaining among the frontrunners throughout.

His 1'36.218 lap, set during the second run, secured third place and left him just 0.064 seconds shy of the fastest time, highlighting how closely contested the session was. The result confirms the potential shown throughout the day and gives the team confidence heading into Saturday, with qualifying expected to be extremely close.

For Jorge Navarro, Friday was primarily focused on building confidence with the bike. The Spaniard worked closely with the team, trying different solutions and collecting valuable data to better understand the Kalex's behaviour in the varying track conditions. His fastest lap, 1'37.452, came as early as lap three of his twenty-lap programme, before continuing setup work without completing a clean time attack in the closing stages. Navarro finished the day in 27th position, 1.298 seconds off the fastest lap, with encouraging signs ahead of Saturday's FP2 and Q1.

Friday at Assen therefore provided positive indications for both sides of the REDS Fantic Racing garage.
